Ultra Heavy Duty DC Stair Lift
AmeriGlide Ultra stair lifts feature soft-start and soft-stop operation due to their rack and pinion drives. Soft-start means that the motor slowly powers up and you begin to move deliberately without any jerking. Likewise, soft-stop brings the lift to a gentle halt at the end of your journey. You will never feel uneasy using an AmeriGlide Ultra stair lift.
Ultra stair lifts are DC stair lifts, which means that they have batteries which ensure continuous operation even in blackouts. Every Ultra comes with remote call-send controls so that the seat is never out of reach. Ultras can even be ordered with tracks as long as 32', the longest track of any indoor stair lift we carry.
The Ultra Heavy Duty is upgraded to support up to 375 pounds. It comes with a reinforced, folding bench seat with wide set arms. The seat back is contoured for increased comfort.
